A mixed-use design project in the Mission District of San Francisco.
This project combined commercial space, office space, a dog grooming parlor, and micro-unit housing. Each program was separated by a physical gap, allowing the interstitial spaces to become places where people from all programs flowed together.
For the micro-unit, I made a life-size floor plan to visualize the space.
I took part in the 2018 National Association of Home Building design competition as part of Cal Poly’s team. The competition focuses primarily on construction management, but I was chosen (along with fellow architecture student Alex Gama) to round out the team. We ended up placing 2nd.
This is our silver-medal-winning neighborhood, Meridian Village.
Site design by Alex Gama. Home design by me.

Cal Poly freshman architecture students were divided into teams and tasked with designing a section of a pier.
This was created by me and my teammates in Angela Bracco’s morning studio, Fall 2014.
This was my first true architectural design studio, which had an emphasis on designing by hand. Our objective was to design a small museum for the San Luis Obispo Mission. My design bridges the creek and directs the occupant’s gaze downstream.
